The Dreaded Weigh In

It was a rough night last night and I didn't get to bed until after 2 am and, as a result, I got up late this morning. But, that isn't going to stop me from getting done what needs to be done. I've been up for a over an hour now and I feel pretty good. I weighed myself this morning to see what the damage is and, believe it or not, it's not too bad. Yes, I'm very overweight but I'm still under my highest weight ever. I'm trying to look on the bright side, okay?

My weight this morning was 266.2. My goal is to lose 20 pounds by the end of this year. So, when I start 2012, I should weigh 246.2 pounds. If I weigh less than my goal weight, go me! But, I want to set small goals for myself so I can keep motivated to continue on my plan.

Tonight's dinner is homemade beef stew, which I'll be posting calorie content in a bit. I have to add all of the ingredients to MyFitnessPal's recipes section to get an accurate account of all calories. What a great tool to use when cooking at home! Breakfast this morning is scrapple and eggs. For those of you who have never heard of scrapple, you can learn about it here. This is one of my favorite breakfast foods ever! I'll be eating 2 slices of scrapple and 3 egg whites this morning. 

Speaking of which, breakfast is now ready and I need to stop blogging. I have some housework to do and, of course, my workout, but I'll be back this afternoon. Have a great Sunday!
