I'm Back!

Okay, so it's been awhile since my last post and I have no excuse for not blogging or dieting during that time. All I can say is that I gave up....AGAIN! Now it's time to get my big ass on track so I can get the weight off, but it's not starting tonight.


Tonight's dinner is take out because we forgot to take something out for dinner. So, instead of defrosting something in the microwave, we decided to be lazy and order something. What is that something, you ask? Well, tonight's dinner is cheese steak subs. Yummy!

Yes, I do realize that that's not healthy at all but shit happens. I'm not going to entirely deny myself everything I love to eat. I would normally get a large sub but tonight I got a small. Tomorrow is a new day and I'll do better.

Things have happened that have made me re-evaluate my entire life. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with my life; I'm just not happy with my weight. I'm the only one who can change that and, come hell or high water, I'm going to! I recently upgraded my cell to the iPhone (my Android sucked!) and I made sure to install the following apps:


I will be back on track before I know it and I'm looking forward to it.

If you recall, I had some health issues earlier this year regarding my triglycerides. I'm happy to report that my numbers are perfect and I've almost come off my cholesterol meds. I go back in November to find out if my numbers are still good and, if they are, I can stop taking the meds entirely. It's time I start controlling my body and not letting my body control me.

I've spent some time this week reminiscing about my past weight loss experiences and the one constant was that I loved how I felt! Why would I give that up? Like I said before, shit happens. I got lazy and let old habits take over again. Take today, for example. My BFF came by for a visit today and I realized I hadn't taken anything out for dinner. Instead of going out to the freezer (we keep it in the shed because it's a chest freezer), I just said f*#% it and continued watching television.

I'm not going to sit here and say those days are gone because I know I'm going to have days like this again. But, what I am going to say is that I'm going to do my very best to make sure days like this are few and far between. There's no excuse!

Okay, that's all I'm going to write for today. I'm going to enjoy my evening with my boys and then it's an early bed time for me tonight. My goal is to get up early tomorrow morning to workout. Yep, it's time to dust off Gold's Gym Cardio and kick some ass!
