Under the Weather

I've been sick for the past few days and it's really taking its toll on my routine.  I've been coughing, I have a stuffy head, and I don't have the energy to do anything. I haven't been working out at all and my diet has been suffering. It hasn't been terrible but it hasn't been as good as it was last week either. I haven't done anything without my FitBit and I'm learning a lot about how I'm sleeping, which is very surprising. 
According to my FitBit, I don't sleep through the night very much but my sleep efficiency is pretty high. Last night, for instance, I woke up 21 times and was very active around 3 am but my sleep efficiency was 95%. I don't fully understand how it's possible to be so active but have such a high sleep efficiency. I have to tell you, I don't remember waking up so many times or being so active at 3 am so I can't tell you what's going on. :-)

I've made the decision that, no matter how I feel on Monday, I'm getting back into my routine. I don't have a choice if I want to achieve my goals. I've been dying to use Gold's Gym Dance Workout and I'm going to do it soon! I know I should start before Monday but I want to give my body today and all of tomorrow to rest so I can start feeling better.

This past week was terribly busy and I wasn't able to rest much at all. I'm hoping that I'll start feeling more like myself by tomorrow since nothing's on the books, so to speak. Tomorrow is a day of laying around the house in hopes of feeling better! 

We're under a winter weather advisory for tomorrow into Monday but I'm really hoping it passes us by. I don't need anything making my cold, or whatever this is, worse. The boys don't have school on Monday in observance of President's Day so I'm going to see if they'll work out with me. Gold's Gym Dance Workout can have 4 players so why not get them involved? 

It's time for more meds and dinner so I'm going to get going. Enjoy the rest of the weekend and I'll write again soon!
