Short Lived

Today is day 3 of me being on the hcg diet and I can't stand it. I'm tired of the headaches and dizziness. It's affecting my work. Yesterday, I couldn't work at all because me head was hurting so badly. With everything else I'm dealing with, I just can't do this diet now.


I'm not giving up on losing weight. I experimented with a few things today and I absolutely loved them! Because the hcg diet doesn't allow dressing, I mixed garlic and pepper with my diced tomatoes. OMG is all I can say. I never would have thought of that combination if it weren't for this diet. So, I did learn some things.

I've also learned that I can exercise control over my food. I was so hungry this afternoon I had the shakes. Usually, when I'm that hungry, I eat everything in sight without regard for calories and fat. However, today, I ate 2 sticks of string cheese and 3 chocolate chip cookies. I know the cookies aren't good for me but I ate them anyway.

I feel like I've got a better handle on my schedule these days so I'm going to create a new routine. And, I'm not waiting until Monday to start it. No, no, no....I'm starting this tomorrow morning. I'm going to start with weighing in (just to see if there's any change from today), breakfast, 20 minutes of Gold's Gym cardio (light so I can ease back into it), a snack at 10 am, lunch at 12 noon, snack at 2 pm, and dinner around 5 pm.
