Schedule Changes

Today is my last free Saturday for the next 11 weeks because class starts on Monday. I've enjoyed myself on my mini-vacation from school (3 weeks can be longer than you think) but I'm so ready to get back to it. Not counting the class I'm starting on Monday, I only have 3 classes left before I graduate. It's going to be bittersweet for me because I've been in school since Robby was 6 months old (he'll be 8 in September).

I'm ready to be finished with school in a lot of ways because my evenings and weekends will be free to do family things again. I generally spend Saturdays writing papers and, believe me, there are many I have to write. The stress of school isn't that bad when I work from home, but, when I have a job outside the house, the stress increases because I'm gone all day and then I have homework to do in the evenings.

Speaking of traditional jobs, I have an interview Tuesday morning with an accounting firm. The job is executive assistant and I'm confident I'm the perfect person for the job. The only thing that concerns me is that the firm may not want to or be looking to pay what I'm asking.

The family and I have been discussing the possibility of us moving after I graduate. We live in a very rural area and the work here is minimal. However, we're 2 hours from Baltimore where work and pay is more plentiful. It frustrates me that we're almost forced to move but we have to do what we have to do.

Anyway, with school starting and the possibility of me working outside the house again, my schedule is bound to change, but I'm determined to stay on track. During the summer, I can walk in the evenings after dinner and in the winter, I can hop on the treadmill after dinner while reading for school. That's the plan.

Since this weekend is my last free weekend for a while, I've got a lot on my to do list to get completed. I want to clean and get all of the laundry done so that I don't have to do it next week when class is in session. I'm also going to clean out my closet because it's been bothering me. Besides, I usually get dressed in there when I'm working so I need the room.

Enough writing for now, I've got things to do.
