Hot, Hot, Hot

Today is the official start of summer and Delmarva is certainly feeling the heat. The air temperature is in the upper 90s and the humidity is unreal! But, that's how our summers are. We don't have 4 seasons here; we either have Winter, Summer, and Fall or Winter, Spring, and Summer. The days of opening windows and feeling the breeze are very limited. Enough of the weather report; I'm sure you didn't come here to read about that.



I was hoping today would be a day that I could enjoy the pool and get in some water exercises. Although it's hotter than Hades outside, the pool water is still too cool for me to get in. So, a little disappointed there but the summer's just getting started. Instead, I'm sitting here in the air conditioning writing this blog and researching healthy recipes and exercises. The boys have been out in the pool today but now they're inside wreaking havoc on the house, the kitten, and my nerves.

With that being said, it's time to wrap up this post. Is it the first day of school yet?
